1977 "Bandit" Y82 SE 4 Speed Trans Am

PHS documented Matching Numbers 4 speed Y82 special edition "Bandit" Trans Am

What we're dealing with here is a complete.......numbers matching, 73000 mile W72 4 speed Y82 Bandit Trans Am. I think the pictures speak for themselves, nice, slick black paint and decals on a solid correct numbers matching SE Trans Am. Paint is very nice, body is very nice, interior is very nice, car is exactly as the PHS invoice shows. 4 Speed, W72 400 engine, AC, rear defrost, standard interior, tilt, AM-FM stereo (not connected) very correct and very beautiful TA. This car has recently went through a cosmetic restoration. I think the 60 pics I posted really show what this car looks like. If you want to hear it running click this VIDEO link to for a 2 1/2 minute walk around and to listen to the car running.

Engine and engine compartment have been rebuilt, detailed and restored back to original configuration. detail includes working windshield squirters, uncut shaker scoop, correct tagged manual transmission radiator (no holes for auto trans lines) reverse lock out linkage is all in place and working as are back up lamps. dated solid core support w/orig engine decal still in place, new hoses, belts, cables, alternator, starter, ect. Engine runs great, has a mild cam, and dual Flowmaster exhaust. Trans shifts, sounds and drives great w/a 3.23 posi rear axle.

Here I have pictures of most of the pertinent parts of the engine, they show date codes, vin on the block, vin on the trans, correct carb number, correct 6X-4 heads, correct WA block code. not shown are other matching parts such as correct dated distributor, correct dated fan blade, ect. This is the original running gear for this car. Also pictured are the PHS and trim tag.

Interior is very nice, seats, carpet and headliner are great, all plastics are nice, dash is a beautiful original and uncracked, console is nice, shift boots are new, shifter and knob are great, shifter is tight and precise. Gauges are clear and all work except for the clock. Gold dash and steering wheel are nice.

Trunk floor is rust free and solid as are lower inner and outer quarters, rockers, tail panel ect. This was a super solid car with only some lace in the rear floors (replaced during resto) Car is clean and would easily detail underneath to make it a show car. Still has original owners manual, Hurst t-top bag in the trunk, Spare appears to have never been used, jack, handle and components are still in place. This car was off the road since 96 when I got it, title shows 72033 actual miles, speedometer currently shows 73810.
